Education Our educational program encourages the development of community schools that are organized and funded by the local community. Throughout Zambia there are large numbers of villages that have no government-funded schools and likely will not see one built in the near future. The Zambia Project approach empowers the local community while providing educational materials and/or curriculum and training teachers and administrators. We also facilitate the development of critical thinking skills among the children of Zambia through the introduction of certain group exercises and games (e.g. chess, checkers, and games that involve strategic thinking and planning).
